About

The Microlabs Hackathon 2025 is a focused, high-intensity challenge that assembles doctors, AI researchers, data scientists and innovators to prototype AI solutions for fever management. Teams will work on problem statements with clinical relevance, supported by mentor sessions and technical resources.

Objective

Create clinically-informed, scalable AI solutions for diagnosis, monitoring and remote care of febrile illness. Emphasis on measurable impact, pilot-readiness and patient safety.

Theme — AI-Driven Fever Management

1. Predictive Outbreak Models

Prevalence data of various types of fever across India — map geographic distribution and build predictive outbreak models for different fever types to enable early action and resource allocation.

Data: epidemiology, meteorology, mobility, demographics

2. Fever Helpline

AI-supported fever platform: an integrated, one-stop, easily reachable solution for patients and caregivers offering symptom triage, advice, and routing to teleconsultation or nearby clinics.

Features: chatbot triage, escalation, multi-lingual support

3. Remote Monitoring & Personalized Analytics

Automated follow-up and symptom-monitoring tools that collect vitals and patient-reported outcomes, then provide personalized analytics and risk scoring for proactive care.

Devices: wearables, IoT thermometers, mobile reports

4. AI-Assisted Diagnostics & Triage

A novel AI-assisted triage tool to aid clinicians in diagnosing types of fever, suggesting differential diagnoses, and prioritizing cases for urgent care.

Algorithms: explainable ML, uncertainty quantification

5. Clinician Dashboards & Visualisations

Real-time patient monitoring dashboards for tracking clinical outcomes, managing specific fevers, and improving operational performance — reducing errors and improving quality of care.

Use-cases: ward monitoring, outbreak heatmaps, KPI tracking
